Our story
About the choir
The boys’ choir Pueri Cantores Sancti Nicolai was founded in 1987 at the parish of St. Nicholas in Bochnia. Throughout its existence, it has performed in many countries around the world, winning numerous awards and capturing the hearts and souls of listeners with its angelic renditions of polyphonic compositions.
Our repertoire
Music
The Bochnia Boys’ Choir performs a repertoire that spans from sacred compositions dating back to the 16th century to contemporary popular music. Throughout its career, the choir has recorded a total of 13 albums. Among the performed pieces, it proudly presents a complete rendition of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah Oratorio. The choir has frequently collaborated with string and symphonic orchestras, including performances of music from The Lord of the Rings.
