Decades of hard work in creating the PCSN Choir have resulted in nearly 50 awards received at international and national competitions and festivals. The choir has visited such countries as Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Ukraine and more. The choir has also had the honor of performing multiple times at St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, celebrating mass in the presence of the Pope.
The choir has been invited numerous times to participate in major musical events in Poland and collaborate with supreme Polish composers of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, such as Krzysztof Penderecki, Józef Świder, and Henryk Jan Botor. In 2002, the choir’s conductor, Father Stanisław Adamczyk, was honored for outstanding achievements in choral music with the Jerzy Kurczewski Award. This is not only prestigious merit but also the only one of its kind in Poland in this field.

For its contributions, Pueri Cantores Sancti Nicolai was recognized as an Honorary Ambassador of the Royal and Mining Town of Bochnia.
Among the notable performances of Pueri Cantores Sancti Nicolai, they have been featured at events such as the 37th International Festival Wratislavia Cantans, the 27th International Festival Music in Old Krakow, and the 12th International Festival of Sacred Music Gaude Mater in Częstochowa.
The choir has collaborated with the National Symphony Orchestra and Choir of Polish Radio, as well as with the Madrigalists and the Capella Cracoviensis Orchestra, presenting notable works such as Handel’s Oratorio “Messiah,” Franz Liszt’s Oratorio “Saint Stanislaus,” J.S. Bach’s Oratorio “Easter Oratorio,” J.S. Bach’s “Magnificat,” and W.A. Mozart’s “Litaniae Lauretanae.”
While the Bochnia choir is known for its expertise in sacred music, it also embraces entertainment and film music. PCSN participated in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd editions of the Film Music Festival in Krakow, performing Howard Shore’s music for the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy by Peter Jackson.
Despite being an amateur boys’ choir, Pueri Cantores Sancti Nicolai has produced 13 albums and recordings for Polish Radio and Television. Its level of artistry has been recognized within the elite circles of the Polish music community, where it enjoys significant acclaim.
